46 Cameos of the Legendary Stan Lee In The Marvel Universe

Lee is an unmatched legend in the comic book world as well as the previous chairman of Marvel Comics. The iconic creator's occupation draws back to 1939 before Marvel's existence. He's responsible for prominent personalities like Spider-Man, Iron Man, Thor, and also Black Panther.

Stan Lee has been in multiple cameos across the decades, here are 46 that we have listed below

Stan Lee's original live-action cameo occurred as a tribunal member in the TV movie "The Trial of the Incredible Hulk" (1989).

His first cinematic Marvel cameo was as a hot dog merchant in "X-Men" (2000).

He showed up as a bewildered observer who rescued a little girl from rubble in "Spider-Man" (2002).

A youthful Matt Murdock protects a preoccupied Lee from stepping into traffic in "Daredevil" (2003).

Lee and previous Hulk actor Lou Ferrigno were guards in 2003's "Hulk."

He rescues a woman from falling rubble while Spider-Man collides with Doc Ock in "Spider-Man 2" (2004).

In "Fantastic Four" (2005), Lee arrives as mailman Willie Lumpkin, a character he invented in the comics.

Lee gets hugely weirded out while Jean Grey begins using her telekinesis in "X-Men: The Last Stand" (2006).

Lee is a wedlock crasher in 2007's "Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer" who is directed away at the door.

He arrives across Peter Parker in Times Square in 2007's "Spider-Man 3."

Tony Stark accidentally mistakes Lee for Hugh Hefner in 2008's "Iron Man."

Here he is grasping a bottle of drink in 2008's "The Incredible Hulk."

In a greeting to his first "Iron Man" cameo, Tony mistakes Lee for Larry King in "Iron Man 2" (2010).

Lee unsuccessfully attempts to move Thor's hammer with his pickup truck in the first "Thor" (2011).

In Captain America: The First Avenger, he plays a commander at a press gathering for Cap. (2011)

Lee is shown in a newsreel as a chess player being interviewed in the original "Avengers" movie (2012).

Lee's secondary cameo in the first "Avengers" movie was cut for time, but in the erased scenes he's having a meal next to Captain America and advises him to get the hostess' number.

Lee dances to classical music while Spider-Man and the Lizard fight behind him in "The Amazing Spider-Man" (2012).

Lee gives a beauty pageant contestant a perfect "10" in "Iron Man 3" (2013).

He emerges as a patient in a mental hospital in 2013's "Thor: The Dark World."

Lee is a security patrolman who forgets where he puts Captain America's costume (Cap stole it) in "Captain America: The Winter Soldier" (2014)

Lee visits Peter's convocation during 2014's "The Amazing Spider-Man 2."

Rocket Raccoon trails him in 2014's "Guardians of the Galaxy" ogling with a young woman.

Okay, so this isn't live-action, although he made his first animated cinematic cameo in 2014's "Big Hero 6" as Fred's dad.

That very year, he played a guest on a train in an episode of ABC's tie-in show "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D."

He also emerged in the first season of ABC's "Agent Carter," beside Tony's dad, Howard Stark in 2015.

Lee jumps up as a naval vet in "Avengers: Age of Ultron" (2015) who must be taken away after getting too drunk on Asgardian booze at a triumph party.

He's a grizzly, yet friendly bartender in "Ant-Man" (2015).

Deadpool" (2016) cameo see's Stan Lee as raunchy. Lee performs as an emcee at a strip club.

In "Captain America: Civil War" (2016), Lee performs in one of the last scenes as a Fed-Ex deliveryman, with a package for Tony Stark.

In "X-Men: Apocalypse" (2016), he stands with his real wife Joan throughout a scene where Apocalypse uses his abilities to propel all the world's nuclear weapons into space, disarming the entire planet.

He emerges in the last episode of the first season of Netflix's "Daredevil" series in a photo on the back wall (2015).

When Jessica Jones revisits the same station in "Jessica Jones" (2015), with a shock introduction from nemesis Kilgrave, we see the very same photo of Lee as an officer.

In Netflix's latest series "Luke Cage," you can find the same photo of Stan Lee on a poster saying, "See a crime? Report it!" when Luke recognises a burglary in progress.

In "Doctor Strange," Stan Lee protrudes up on a minibus in New York City reading a transcript of "The Doors of Perception."

Though Stan doesn't jump up in "Logan," he was associated with a short "Deadpool" teaser that advertised before the movie played. His role was cut from the cinematic version, but it's online.

Sharp-eyed spectators viewed Lee once again as a police officer on a poster in the 13th episode of "Iron Fist."

 In Guardians of the Galaxy Part 2, His cameo has him outfitted as a cosmonaut as he rests and tells novels to three astral beings.

In "Spider-Man: Homecoming" he performs as a character called Gary, a random man yelling out a window at Spidey.

He rose up again on TV thanks to his cameo on the pilot episode of the show  called "The Gifted."

Thor: Ragnarok" (2017) has him wearing some armbands that have some razor-sharp shears on the end to cut off The Asgardian's hair.

He rose up on Hulu's "Runaways" as a limo chauffeur on one episode.


In 2018's "Black Panther," shows Stan Lee gambler in a casino.

Lee can be viewed on a minibus Ad on the second season of "Jessica Jones."


Stan Lee emerges as Peter Parker's bus driver in "Avengers: Infinity War."

Stan Lee gets his vehicle shrivelled before his eyes in "Ant-Man and the Wasp."
